Bryan F "Ginny" McGinn, 43, of Port Tobacco, MD, previously of Spencer passed away October 5, 2018 after a work place accident in Bethesda, MD.

Bryan is survived by his two sons, Bryan McGinn and his significant other, Shayna Fournier of East Brookfield and Dominick McGinn, Specialist 2-506 Infantry Battalion, 3rd Brigade stationed at Fort Campbell, KY.

He is also survived by his mother, Joanne Petty-McGinn of South Yarmouth and Boynton Beach, FL. a brother, Sean Patrick McGinn of San Francisco, CA, a sister, Robin Whittaker Minkin and her husband, Jonathan of Wrentham, and his long-time girlfriend, Jessica Thomas, with whom he lived and his dogs Mya, Ralphie and Sophia.

He had a large extended family including Aunts and Uncles-Joyce and John McTigue, Dr. MaryAnne McGInn and her husband, Thomas Keane, Francis Petty and his significant other, Mary Whittles, Karen Petty and Edward Peloquin. Bryan also leaves many cousins and lifelong friends including childhood friend Rick Barrell. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Jean and Joseph Petty, Ethel and John McGinn, his uncle Joseph Petty, three aunts, Nancy Petty, Kathleen Peloquin and Sharon Petty.

Bryan was a wonderful son, grandson, father, brother and a friend who was loved by many. He left us way to soon. Bryan was an avid outdoorsman. He grew up on Sugden Reservoir where he was life of the party with his dog Grumpy. Bryan loved to spend time with his family and friends, and was very proud of his sons.

Bryan was a former member of the Leicester Rod and Gun Club. Bryan was a motorcycle enthusiast and a proud member of the Phantoms MC, Maryland Chapter. He was currently employed by the Atkinson Construction Company and a proud member of the Local 77, International Union of Operating Engineers in Maryland.

A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, October 15 from Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10AM in Our Lady of Angels Church, 1222 Main St. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting Hours Sunday, October 14 from 2 to 5pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Michael Dunleavy Foundation, P.O. Box 325, Winchester, MA 01890. All donations benefit Childhood Brain Tumor Cancer Research and programs for terminally ill children and their families.
